National Police agents have arrested a 38-year-old British man at the César Manrique airport in Lanzarote, who had a judicial arrest warrant issued by a Lanzarote court. The arrest was carried out during a police control at the disembarkation of the flight.

The events occurred when police officers who were carrying out their work in passenger control verified, during the disembarkation of a flight from Newcastle, that an individual had an arrest warrant issued by a Lanzarote Court.

Therefore, the intervening agents proceeded to arrest him and transfer him to the police headquarters. After the corresponding police report was prepared, the detainee was placed at the disposal of the competent Judicial Authority.
