Agents of the Local Police of Tías proceeded on the afternoon of October 26 to arrest a man, with initials A.T.C., 37 years old and with a police record, accused of an alleged crime of robbery with force in Puerto del Carmen.
The events happened in a tourist complex in Puerto del Carmen, when the agents were commissioned from the 112 room for the suspicious presence of a man inside the complex.
The agents appeared at the scene and located the suspect. They also interviewed the staff of the complex and several witnesses and were able to determine that this same person would have taken advantage of the fact that the reception was outside opening hours to break the glass of a window and access its interior.
At the time of the police action, they also observed that the interior of the reception was disordered "abruptly" and that two bottles of alcoholic beverages had been stolen from the adjoining storage area. For this reason, the suspect was arrested and the appropriate police proceedings were instructed for referral to the judicial authority.
