A man has been arrested for attempting to assault a man in a bar near Pérez Galdós street in Arrecife. The events occurred around 8:30 p.m. this Monday, October 24, when the National Police received a notice for a discussion between two individuals.
When the security forces arrived at the scene, they found two people inside a vehicle and a large crowd of people. The agents asked him to identify himself, but he disobeyed the police orders and immediately afterwards, one of the occupants got out of the front seat of the car, ran to the bar, grabbed a large knife and tried to attack another man. The National Police managed to reduce separate them and subdue the aggressor.
The aggressor, of Colombian origin, is arrested for a crime of injury and a crime of disobedience to authority.
