Agents of the National Police have arrested in Arrecife M.K., a 23-year-old man of Moroccan nationality, with 35 police records mostly for crimes against property, as the alleged perpetrator of a robbery with force. As explained in a press release, the detainee "climbed the back wall of a house and entered a room, from which he stole two smartphones, a tablet and cash."

The events were triggered after a man called the 091 telephone number reporting that someone had entered his home, as he was missing two smartphones, a tablet and cash from one of the rooms. In the company of the police officers who went to the scene and "thanks to a mobile geolocation application", the man was able to locate the exact location of one of the stolen terminals. This application guided the agents to the landing of a building in Arrecife, where an individual was sitting manipulating the aforementioned telephone, so he was arrested as the alleged perpetrator of a robbery with force.

The arrested man has 35 police records for similar events, 21 of them in the current year. Once the corresponding police report was prepared, the detainee was placed at the disposal of the competent Judicial Authority. The police intervention was carried out by members of the Local Citizen Security Brigade of Arrecife.
