Firefighters from the Lanzarote Security and Emergency Consortium moved this morning, Tuesday, April 29, to Argana Alta, alerted to an urban fire affecting an old car junkyard.
Around 7:00 in the morning, the firefighters moved to the place, located near the capital's cemetery. Fifty minutes later, the fire is already under control, according to the manager of the Lanzarote Security and Emergency Consortium, Enrique Espinosa.
Finally, what burned in the area were vehicle tires and a windmill. While the cars in the old junkyard have not been affected.
