On the morning of this Friday, April 19, a traffic accident occurred in the parking lot of the César Manrique-Lanzarote airport, with three vehicles involved. According to eyewitnesses, a rental car would have initially collided with a taxi and, subsequently, with a minibus that was transporting a family to the terminal.
Upon the arrival of the emergency services, two of the occupants were being attended to by the sanitary personnel of the Canary Emergency Service (SUC), as they presented traumas of diverse consideration. The driver of the rental vehicle was injured and received assistance at the scene.

Members of the Civil Guard, the Local Police, and the SUC went to the scene to manage the emergency. In addition, firefighters from the Security and Emergency Consortium intervened, who reported that, after receiving authorization from the Police, they proceeded to clean the road, disconnect the batteries of the three vehicles involved, and collaborate with the crane in the removal of the vehicles. Finally, they notified the CECOES (Emergency and Security Coordinating Center) of the completion of the operation.
