A 24-year-old man has been seriously injured with multiple injuries after falling from a height of ten meters in the Cueva de los Naturalistas or Cueva de Las Palomas in the municipality of Tías. The incident took place at approximately 7:30 p.m. this Wednesday. At that time, the Coordinating Center for Emergencies and Security (CECOES) received an alert reporting that a man had fallen and was injured.
Agents of the Civil Guard, Local Police, Civil Protection, Firefighters and a medicalized ambulance of the Canary Emergency Service have been dispatched to the scene.
Once at the scene, the medical personnel have assessed and assisted the injured man who, after being immobilized, has been transferred in a medicalized ambulance to the Doctor José Molina Orosa Hospital.
The Firefighters of the Consortium have collaborated with the SUC in assisting the injured man. Civil Protection, Civil Guard and Local Police have collaborated with the emergency services.
