A 27-year-old young man of French origin has been injured after falling on a rocky area on the maritime avenue of Playa Blanca, according to the Emergency Consortium.
The events took place around 5:15 p.m. when the Coordinating Center for Emergencies and Security received an alert requesting medical assistance for a young man who had suffered a fall and had become unconscious.
Agents of the Local Police, firefighters and an ambulance from the Canary Emergency Service have traveled to the scene. The medical personnel attended to the affected person who had already regained consciousness and had a strong blow to the head.
The firefighters evacuated the injured man on the spinal board with the help of the paramedics and Local Police. He was later transferred by ambulance to the Doctor José Molina Orosa Hospital.
