The family of a young man from Tías has reported his disappearance and has appealed to citizen collaboration to try to locate him, since he also suffers from autism. Carlos is 22 years old and is studying in Granada, where he also has relatives, but they lost track of him last Monday, March 1. Since then, the only thing they have been able to find out is that he traveled to Madrid.
"He took a bus to Madrid and from there a taxi to the airport," explains his aunt. Apparently, during the journey he told the taxi driver that his intention was to fly to Mexico, although there is no evidence that he actually made that trip. In fact, his aunt points out that he didn't even have money to buy the ticket.
"We lost track of him there," she adds, explaining that they have been getting this data with the collaboration of the National Police and by tracking the expenses he made with his card.
"If someone sees him, they should approach him and tell him that his family is looking for him," they request in the messages they have launched on social networks.
Carlos lives in a university residence in Granada and his parents, who are in Lanzarote, began to worry last Monday when he didn't answer the phone. In addition, he also had an appointment with an Asperger Association that he did not attend.
There they contacted the residence, which confirmed that he was not in his room. Since then they have managed to reconstruct some of his steps and believe he may be in Madrid, so they ask that his image be disseminated so that it reaches anyone who may have seen him.
