A man has been seriously injured after falling from a second floor while working on a building under construction in the center of Tías.
The accident occurred at around 3:00 p.m. on Guayre Street, where firefighters from the Security and Emergency Consortium went to rescue the man, as well as Local Police officers and two SUC ambulances, one basic life support and one medicalized.
According to sources consulted by La Voz, the affected person is a crane operator, who fell from about eight meters high, from the second floor to the basement.

For his rescue, the firefighters had to use a rope system to hoist the man to the 0 floor of the building. The affected person, who was "conscious" after the fall, had multiple injuries and has been transferred to the Molina Orosa Hospital.
