A 45-year-old woman was seriously injured on Thursday afternoon after being hit by a car in Arrecife. The incident took place at around 5:30 p.m. on Doctor Gómez Ulla Street.
A medicalized ambulance from the Canary Emergency Service attended the scene and was responsible for transferring the affected woman to the Doctor José Molina Orosa Hospital. At the initial time of assistance, the woman presented a hip fracture and rib fractures, of a serious nature.
Agents of the Local Police of Arrecife also came to the scene, and were also the ones who called the Coordinating Center for Emergencies and Security (CECOES) 1-1-2. The agents were in charge of preparing the corresponding report.
