A woman of about 75 years old has died this Monday morning after falling from the sixth floor of a parking building on José Molina street in Arrecife.
The events took place around 10:20 a.m. and, according to witnesses, a waiter from a nearby bar was the first to assist the woman.
After receiving an alert at the Canary Islands Government's Emergency and Security Coordinating Center (CECOES) 1-1-2, National Police officers and paramedics from the Canary Emergency Service went to the scene and tried to revive the woman without success.
The National Police has already opened an investigation to clarify the causes of the incident, although, according to sources close to it, the first hypothesis being considered is suicide.
