A car caught fire this Thursday while driving on the LZ-2 around 1:30 p.m., near the Uga roundabout, as reported by the Coordinating Center for Emergencies (CECOES).
Fortunately, the occupants were able to exit the vehicle and were unharmed.
After CECOES received the alert, agents from the Local Police, Civil Guard, firefighters from the Emergency Consortium, and Civil Protection were dispatched. The firefighters extinguished the flames and removed the car from the road.
For their part, the police officers regulated traffic in the area.
