A new boat has arrived this Sunday in Lanzarote, being the third to do so in just 12 hours. According to the Security and Emergency Consortium, the boat has arrived on the east coast of the island, between Los Ancones and Los Cocoteros.
Initial reports indicate that there could be about 29 people on board, of whom six claim to be minors.
Nineteen immigrants have been located in Costa Teguise where they have been assisted by the Red Cross. And another 10 have been treated near Los Ancones.
