FIREFIGHTERS HAVE ENTERED THE TRACK "FOR SECURITY"

A technical failure forces a take-off to be aborted at the airport

October 4 2013 (17:26 WEST)

A Monarch airline plane has activated the emergency protocol at Lanzarote airport this Friday. As confirmed by Aena to La Voz, the plane was already running and when it was about to start "the take-off run", it "jumped a fault" and had to abort the operation.

After giving notice of what happened, the firefighters entered the runway and were in charge of accompanying the plane back to the area where the aircraft park. "It is the usual protocol, only for security", they clarify from Aena.

The flight was heading to the United Kingdom, although a "technical failure" has prevented its take-off, with the consequent scare for the passengers, although without leaving consequences.
