A self-service store located in the San Francisco Javier neighborhood, in Arrecife, suffered a violent robbery on Monday evening. The woman who was inside the store had to be transferred to the Doctor José Molina Orosa Hospital.
The events occurred around 8:00 p.m. in this capital neighborhood. Apparently, two people approached the store, one of them waited in a vehicle and the other entered the self-service store, according to La Voz sources.
The store remained open, so it cost the alleged thief nothing to enter, take the money from the cash register and flee. Faced with these events, the woman who was working at the self-service store decided to run out and try to catch up with him.
The response of this woman angered the alleged thieves who ended up hitting her. Therefore, and given the shock that the affected woman had, it was decided to transfer her to the Doctor José Molina Orosa Hospital.
The National Police has opened proceedings on these events, which have been transferred to the Arrecife Duty Court. From the press office they have assured that they cannot provide data on this event since the agents are investigating.
