Agents of the Local Police of Teguise have sanctioned a person after detecting, last Monday, January 15, a vehicle in the area enabled for the organic waste containers located on Ruta Norte street in the tourist and residential town of Costa Teguise. After verifying how the driver of the vehicle got out of it and deposited different debris in an area prohibited for it, the agents proceeded to identify the individual to, then, propose for sanction.
The Councilor for Police and Traffic of the Teguise City Council, Ginés González, recalls that these events constitute "an infraction included in our legal system that can reach the figure of 2,000 euros as a fine."
González also insists that, "precisely very close to Ruta Norte street in Costa Teguise is the clean point, right in front of the golf course, open from Monday to Sunday, where users can deposit belongings and debris completely free of charge." Likewise, for the collection of large household goods at home, a free telephone number has also been enabled, 900 120 190.
