A person has had to be transferred to the José Molina Orosa hospital for smoke inhalation after the fire in their home in Puerto del Carmen.
The fire took place around 4:00 p.m. this Tuesday on Juan Carlos I street in the tourist town. Once notified by the CECOES, agents of the Civil Guard, the Local Police, an ambulance from the SUC and the Emergency Consortium have been dispatched.
The fire was located in the kitchen and affected a frying pan. When the firefighters arrived, the fire was extinguished and they ventilated the house.
