A multiple accident occurred this Tuesday morning on the LZ-2. In the incident, which took place at the junction to Playa Honda on this road, a total of four vehicles have been involved. The accident has caused significant delays on this road, but has not resulted in any injuries.
According to the Coordinating Center for Security and Emergencies of the Government of the Canary Islands, agents of the Civil Guard have gone to the area to assist in the accident and regulate traffic. The incident took place shortly before 9 am.
The presence of ambulances was not necessary, since none of the occupants of the four vehicles needed medical assistance. However, the collision did cause problems in traffic. At 9 in the morning, for several hundred meters, the vehicles traveling on the LZ-2 towards Puerto del Carmen remained stopped near Playa Honda.
