A 79-year-old man has died and an 80-year-old woman has been injured in the collision of a car and a motorcycle on the Avda Marítima in Arrecife.
Around 10:30 a.m., an alert is received at the Coordinating Center for Emergencies and Security (CECOES) 1-1-2 reporting a traffic accident between a car and a motorcycle, resulting in injuries to the two occupants of the motorcycle.
1-1-2 immediately activates the necessary emergency resources. A doctor and nurse from the SUC, deployed in the medicalized ambulance, provide assistance, confirming the death of the 79-year-old man due to the severity of the injuries suffered. Likewise, the SUC doctor assists and stabilizes the 80-year-old woman, who presents with severe traumatic brain injury, being transferred by an Emerlan ambulance to the Molina Orosa Hospital in Arrecife.
