A man was arrested in the early hours of Friday to Saturday in Playa Honda after being caught stealing at the home of the insular director of the General State Administration, Juan Prats, as confirmed to La Voz by the Councilor for Police of San Bartolomé, Alexis Tejera. The arrested man, who has numerous priors, responds to the initials Y.C and is said to be about 41 years old, was released with charges after testifying before the judge.

It was a neighbor who, around one in the morning, alerted the agents of the Local Police, who were patrolling Playa Honda, believing that a robbery could be taking place in a house due to the noises they heard.
