A 35-year-old man has suffered mild intoxication from smoke inhalation after a fire broke out in his home located on the first floor of a building in Arrecife.
A call alerted the Coordinating Center for Emergencies and Security (CECOES) 1-1-2, around 02:00 hours, reporting that a fire had broken out in a home.
The 1-1-2 immediately activated the necessary emergency resources.
Personnel from the Security, Emergency, Rescue, Prevention and Fire Extinction Consortium of the island of Lanzarote extinguished the flames and ventilated the building.
The SUC health personnel assisted the only person affected at the scene of the incident. The Local Police regulated traffic in the area and collaborated with the rest of the emergency resources, while the National Police Corps instructed the proceedings.
