Three people have been injured of varying degrees in the collision of two vehicles with subsequent overturning of one of them on the LZ-46, near La Vegueta, municipality of Tinajo. The crash occurred at 16:08 this Sunday.

The Coordinating Center for Emergencies and Security (CECOES) 1-1-2 of the Government of the Canary Islands received at that time, several alerts reporting that there had been a collision of two vehicles with subsequent overturning of one of them and that there were some people trapped inside one of them. The firefighters of the Consortium have released the trapped people and the SUC staff have assessed and assisted the injured.

It is a 60-year-old man who, at the initial time of assistance, presents serious polytrauma, a 52-year-old woman who, at the initial time of assistance, presents less serious multiple contusions and a 27-year-old young man who, at the initial time of assistance, presents mild multiple contusions. All have been transferred in different ambulances to Molina Orosa.

The Civil Guard has instructed the corresponding procedures and the Local Police has collaborated with the emergency and security services.
