A 35-year-old man has been transferred to the Molina Orosa Hospital for intoxication due to inhalation of smoke of a less serious nature. The incident took place at 8:53 p.m. this Sunday on Triana Street. At that time, a call alerted the Coordinating Center for Emergencies and Security (CECOES) 1-1-2 of the Government of the Canary Islands, reporting a fire in a house located on the second floor of a 3-story building, in the capital.
Once the 1-1-2 has activated the necessary emergency resources, the firefighters of the Consortium have moved to the place and have extinguished the fire, which has affected the kitchen of the house. The SUC health personnel assisted that 35-year-old man, who has been transferred by ambulance to the island's Hospital with intoxication due to inhalation of smoke of a less serious nature.
Both the Local Police and the agents of the National Police have established the pertinent security measures in the area and have collaborated with the emergency resources.
