A 47-year-old man and resident of Mácher died early this Sunday morning after his vehicle ran off the road and overturned on the highway near Tías, according to CECOES.
The accident occurred at about 1:26 a.m. when 112 was alerted that a car had overturned, had run off the road and was about 30 meters from it.
Two ambulances, one basic life support and one medicalized SUC, a doctor and a nurse from the Tías health center, the Emergency Consortium, Civil Guard and Civil Protection were dispatched to the scene.
Emergency resources arriving at the scene of the accident found that there was no one inside the car and after searching the area, they located a person who had already died with injuries incompatible with life.
The Civil Guard has been in charge of instructing the corresponding proceedings.
