A hiker had to be rescued this Tuesday in the Risco de Famara, in the Las Nieves area, after being injured after falling down a ravine from a height of three meters.
After being alerted by the Cecoes at around 2:25 p.m. that the man had suffered a possible fracture of a leg, the personnel of the Security and Emergency Consortium went to the place, where agents of the Local Police were located.

Guided by the navigator, the firefighters went to the indicated point and located the man who, after a first exploration, complained mainly of hip pain.
The Consortium personnel placed a neck brace on the injured man to transfer him on a rescue stretcher to the road, where SUC paramedics took charge of his assessment and transfer to the Molina Orosa Hospital.
