National Police agents arrested a 59-year-old German man at César Manrique Airport, wanted by international authorities.
According to the body's press office, the arrested man was located by police officers upon arrival at the airport on a flight from London. The man had a European arrest and surrender warrant in force for crimes against public order and state security.
Once placed at the disposal of the competent Judicial Authority, his imprisonment was ordered until his transfer.
This is the sixth international fugitive located and arrested in Lanzarote by the National Police this year.
