A vehicle burned in the early hours of this Thursday in a vacant lot located on La Porra street in Arrecife. The car was completely burned and the fire affected the power lines of the house next to the lot, as reported to La Voz by the Security and Emergency Consortium.
The fire broke out at 4:12 a.m., when the Arrecife Local Police alerted the Security and Emergency Consortium that a vehicle was burning inside a garage. Upon arriving there, it was verified that the vehicle was not in a garage but in a lot next to a house.
The fire department proceeded to extinguish the fire, which affected the power lines of a house. Thus, Unelco was notified to proceed to repair the damage caused and the power to the house was cut off for safety.
Also, during the night, several containers burned in Arrecife. The first of them, at 4:42 a.m., on Doctor Severo Ochoa street in Titerroy. Just two minutes later, another container caught fire on Palencia street, in the Los Alonso neighborhood. The last one burned at 4:50 a.m., on Blasco Ibáñez street, in the Altavista neighborhood.
