A fall of rubble from a building in Arrecife forces firefighters to intervene

They also acted before the possible fall of a Christmas ornament to the road, in Yagabo street in Arrecife. There were no injuries in any of the incidents.

The firefighters of the Security and Emergency Consortium had to intervene this Wednesday due to a fall of rubble from a building on Nicolás Martin Cabrera street in Arrecife.

Around 1:45 p.m., the firefighters went to the place, where they verified that rubble had fallen on the road, without anyone being injured. With the help of the ladder truck, they accessed the first floor of the building and removed the loose pieces of plaster.

Afterwards, they proceeded to collect the remains of rubble that were on the road and cleaned it.

 

Danger of falling Christmas lights

On the other hand, an individual alerted the Emergency Consortium this Tuesday at 2:45 p.m. that there was a Christmas ornament that could fall on the road on Yagabo street, in Arrecife.

Once on the scene, the firefighters verified that the anchors of the Christmas ornament had broken and it was hanging, hitting, with the danger of coming off.

With the ladder truck, the firefighters accessed it and disconnected it from the electrical network. Then, they cut the only anchor that remained and, finally, they collected it and delivered it to the headquarters of the Local Police.
