Firefighters had to rescue a couple of tourists this Tuesday who were on a mattress "adrift" one kilometer from the coast of Puerto del Carmen.
According to the Security and Emergency Consortium, the event took place in front of the Jameos Playa hotel. Alerted by the Emergency and Security Coordination Center, the firefighters went to the place and rescued the two tourists, who were in good health, on a jet ski.
The firefighters transferred the two tourists to Los Pocillos beach.
