A driver has crashed into a lamppost, knocking it down in Arrecife. The accident occurred at around 6 in the morning on Tenderete street in the Argana Alta neighborhood.
After being alerted by the CECOES, agents of the Local Police, firefighters and an ambulance from the Canary Emergency Service were dispatched.
The two occupants of the vehicle left the car on their own. The driver's companion suffered minor injuries from the impact of the airbag and, after being assisted on site by the health personnel, was transferred by ambulance to Molina Orosa.
The firefighters secured the cables of the lighting that had been exposed with current and covered it with a plastic bag and insulating tape. In addition, they disconnected the battery and cleaned the road of plastic debris.
Finally, the police carried out the corresponding report.
