The "El Flaco" hamburger restaurant in Tinajo was the victim of the flames on Saturday night, just minutes after the carnival parade passed by its door.
The fire broke out around 9 p.m. in the bar's kitchen, located on Avenida de los Volcanes. Firefighters from the Security and Emergency Consortium were in charge of extinguishing the fire.
The fire affected the house above the bar, which firefighters had to access by forcing the door. The fire entered through the extractor duct and affected a window and the curtains of the apartment.
The firefighters managed to extinguish the fire, which, in addition to the kitchen, also affected other areas of the bar, although causing "minor damage", according to the Security and Emergency Consortium.
