A 71-year-old woman has been found dead in her home, on Francisco Acosta Espinosa street in Arrecife, after several days without any news of her.
The alert was given by the hospital staff, after seeing that the woman, named Marina, had not been to the doctor for several days. Also, a neighbor had also alerted the Local Police of her disappearance.
The discovery of Marina's lifeless body took place at around 11:30 a.m. this Thursday, when the firefighters of the Security and Emergency Consortium were alerted to proceed to enter a home. Local Police and National Police officers also came to the scene.
The woman was found dead in the bathroom of her home, with blood in her mouth, although without any apparent sign that her death was not natural. Even so, the autopsy will determine the causes of death.
