A 30-year-old man was injured in the early hours of Tuesday after being hit by a car in Arrecife, on the LZ-20 road, which connects the capital with Tinajo. The incident took place at around 2 a.m., when a call was received at 112 alerting of the accident.
The Coordinating Center for Emergencies and Security (CECOES) sent a basic life support ambulance and a medicalized ambulance, which were responsible for transferring the injured man to the Doctor José Molina Orosa Hospital.
According to the first evaluation of the SUC personnel at the scene, the man presented a thoracic trauma and another less serious cranial trauma.
Local Police officers also went to the scene of the accident, who were in charge of regulating traffic and carrying out the corresponding procedures.
