Firefighters had to assist, on the afternoon of this Thursday, an 80-year-old woman who had suffered a fall in her home in Arrecife.
According to the Lanzarote Security and Emergency Consortium, the incident took place around 8:14 p.m. on Gregorio Marañón Street. Upon arrival, the firefighters accessed the roof to force the door with the help of a crowbar.
Once inside, they verified that the woman was on the floor after suffering a fall. In order to evacuate her correctly, the firefighters opened the garage door of the house so that the paramedics could enter to assist the affected woman.
The firefighters collaborated in the transfer on a stretcher to the ambulance, and the elderly woman was transferred to the Molina Orosa Hospital.
