After this turbulent period, the Regulatory Council of the D.O. Vinos de Lanzarote offers new activity proposals for this spring. These include hiking trails around the island's wineries, storytelling, the ConVinados menu and a mindfulness session.
The Regulatory Council faces spring looking for wine lovers. The definition of this Anglo-Saxon term, which is on the rise, tells us that they are “people who love wine, not experts, who seek to expand their knowledge and their wine collection”. With this new vision in the background, the Regulatory Council seeks to offer activities that are already classic in its calendar, such as hiking trails, and other more novel ones, such as mindfulness.
Hiking through the wine landscape
During the coming months, all those passionate about the wine-growing landscape of Lanzarote will have the opportunity to enjoy it around different wineries on the island. In turn, they will be able to combine their passion for hiking with their passion for wines, tasting some of their references.
These routes began last Saturday, March 12, where attendees were able to enjoy the surroundings of the town of Guatiza and the La Mareta Winery. The next event will be on May 14 with a low-intensity walk around the Martinón Winery, accompanied by the Lanzarote Hiking expert, Nacho Romero. At the end of the excursion, as usual, there will be a small tasting of their wines.

ConVinados: Perfect pairings
From March 21 to 27, we will once again enjoy one of the classics of Vinos de Lanzarote: ConVinados. This time it will be at the Kenewa Restaurant, where you can taste an exquisite menu of Japanese-Peruvian cuisine, perfectly paired with the best wines of Lanzarote. Enjoy an excellent fusion proposal during that week, seasoned with the views and atmosphere provided by the Charco de San Ginés.
Winefulness
When a mindfulness session is organized in a winery, the result is the perfect mix between mental well-being and good taste in our palate. On April 9, this curious mix of trends will take place at Bodegas Rubicón, where, led by Itziar Goikolea, yoga and mindfulness instructor at Inneris, all attendees will be taken to practice mindfulness and also to taste the wines of this winery.
Once upon a vine: Stories paired with our wines
If you were ever told that stories are for children, they couldn't be more wrong. There are stories for all tastes and all audiences. So, if you like well-told stories, this is the best plan to spend a magical afternoon. On April 21, at Bodegas El Grifo, attendees will be able to immerse themselves in the stories narrated by the storyteller Cristina Temprano, accompanied by the winery's references.

And much more…
Likewise, the Regulatory Council of the D.O. Vinos de Lanzarote will hold many more activities during the year, which are yet to be confirmed. You can be attentive to the launch of tickets for all activities through the social networks of 'Vinos de Lanzarote'.
