The group "Vocal Siete" presented its new show "Punto y Seguimos," thus closing the activities programmed by the Teguise City Council on the occasion of the Christmas holidays. The event took place last Friday night at the Santo Domingo convent with the allowed capacity full.
After the break caused by Covid, "Vocal Siete" took to the stage of the convent in what for them was also their first concert of the newly released year, very excited, to give it their all and get the public involved with them as well. Making them participants in this new project and celebrating the group's 15th anniversary together.
Once again, "Vocal Siete" managed to infect the public using their surprising skills with mastery. With ease and a lot of humor wasted on stage, the public is fully involved without even realizing it, participating by singing the choruses of their songs or clapping. Less dancing because it is prohibited due to the situation we are experiencing.
Vocal Siete is a formation that does not have to carry instruments since their voices recreate all the instruments of a band. They perform genres of very diverse nature, from pop, rock, reggae, folk, Latin and others, all of them accompanied by a stage treatment that seeks to enhance the formation's proposal.
"Punto y Seguimos" takes a tour, revisiting some of the successes that have accompanied them at various times in these 15 years of their history. Some of them were played in the Santo Domingo convent in tribute format to emblematic groups and solo singers such as Queen, Beatle, Rubén Blades, Celia Cruz, etc., also including the theme by Amaury Gutiérrez "Yo sé que es mentira."
"Vocal Siete" since its creation has traveled throughout the Canary Islands also visiting cities such as Madrid, Burgos and countries such as Austria, Germany or Mexico. They are currently immersed in the musical production of their new album "Punto y Seguimos", with the illusion of presenting it very soon.
Without a doubt, last Friday night "Vocal Siete" conquered the numerous public, making them participate in their show with great animation. Nory Machín, Councilor for Culture and Festivities of the Teguise City Council, and other Corporation colleagues also joined the party with their voices.
