The Governing Council of the ULPGC, chaired by Rector Lluís Serra, has approved a new own degree that will be taught in two modalities, depending on whether it is accessed with previous university studies or with professional training: University Expert in Intelligent and Innovative Business Management and Higher Course in Intelligent and Innovative Business Management.
Both are aimed at those professionals and people who need to be trained in the digital transformation of companies or any economic sector, using project management techniques and innovative business models. This new own degree, proposed by the Lanzarote School of Tourism, will be taught in blended mode and will have a total of 35 places. In addition, it is scheduled to start next academic year.
The Vice-Rector of Degrees, Postgraduate Studies and New Qualifications, Luís Hernández Calvento, has highlighted "the importance of approving this new own degree that in its face-to-face phase will be taught at the Lanzarote School of Tourism and that is the result of a "special demand on this island, where we intend to expand the offer of our university studies".
