The San Roque festivities have experienced their big day with the Eucharist and the traditional procession that has paraded San Roque through the center of Tinajo accompanied by numerous faithful.
The church of San Roque was filled to the brim again despite the prevailing heat. As every year, after the Eucharist, the procession of San Roque began, led by the Municipal Band of Tinajo accompanying the saint of Tinajo with their notes on the tour of the municipality.
The procession took place with music and the utmost respect for the saint of Tinajo, who advanced accompanied by the religious, the mayor of Tinajo, Jesús Machín, together with the rest of the municipal government, in the company of the regional councilor, Migdalia Machín, and the deputy Cristina Callero.
San Roque made a stop in the square to receive the folkloric offering with the music and dance of the AMC Timbayba.
The mayor of Tinajo, Jesús Machín, wanted to thank "all the people who have participated in the procession, firstly all the faithful who endured the heat in the church out of love for San Roque, those who took part in the procession in honor of the saint of Tinajo as well as the Timbayba Association, which put the icing on the cake of a very beautiful day with San Roque as the protagonist. It has been the big day of our patron saint in the San Roque 2024 Festivities, I hope these festivities are to the liking of all the residents of Tinajo. Viva San Roque.
