The Tinajo Carnival will be held from March 14 to 20

The City Council reminds that all planned activities will be subject to the alert status in which we find ourselves regarding COVID-19

Tinajo already has a date to celebrate Carnival, it will be from March 14 to 20. Although it will not be a typical carnival, the people of Tinajo will be able to enjoy the festivities with activities both in the Socio-Cultural Centers from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and in the Social Hall.

The City Council reminds that all planned activities will be subject to the alert status in which we find ourselves regarding COVID-19. In each teleclub, the carnival will start on Monday, March 14, with the Decoration Workshop. On Tuesday, March 15, it is the turn of the Mask Workshop. A day later, on Wednesday, it is the turn of the "Bring your wig" Workshop, ending the carnival in the centers on Thursday, March 17, with the Makeup Workshop.

In the Social Hall, the activities begin on Friday, March 18, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., with Children's Dynamization with workshops, dolls, superheroes and "The candy factory". At 9:00 p.m. the "Carnival Gala" will take place with limited capacity with the Showtime show "Dare to dream" and the performances of the troupes "Los Yaiseros" and "Los Cumbacheros".

For Saturday, March 19, from 5:30 p.m. to 6:45 p.m., the Clown Show, magic and games for the whole family arrives with Disco Kids dance in Plaza San Roque. Later and with limited capacity, the musical show Río by the Municipal Dance School of Tinajo.

Finally, on Sunday, March 20, at 10:00 a.m., the VI Solidarity Race of Mascaritas will take place. From 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. the Children's Brujis Carnival will arrive in Plaza San Roque. In the same place, the Tinajo Carnival will end with the parade of children and delivery of gifts to the participating children.

But we cannot lower our guard. Despite the restrictions, we have prepared a battery of actions so that the citizens of Tinajo can once again savor the essence of our carnivals.
