Everything is ready in Jameos del Agua to receive three greats of opera this Thursday. Celso Albelo, Jorge de León and Pancho Corujo, three of the most famous voices in contemporary opera, will perform this Thursday in the Auditorium, after the Art, Culture and Tourism Centers of the Cabildo of Lanzarote managed to bring them together for the first time on the island.
In the concert, the tenors will be accompanied on the piano by Juan Francisco Parra, professor at the Conservatory of Music of the Canary Islands and repetiteur pianist of the Alfredo Kraus Opera Festival of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.
Celso Albelo, on the other hand, is considered one of the best tenors of today, with a voice of great body and homogeneity and a bright and attractive timbre, elements to which he adds a refined singing line and an expressive and meaningful phrasing. Jorge de León has earned a leading space among the most select singers on the current scene, while Pancho Corujo from Lanzarote is one of the most promising young Spanish tenors.
To attend the event, there are still some tickets available. Tickets can be purchased at the CACT ticket offices at a price of 30 euros in advance or 35 on the day of the event.
The president of the Cabildo of Lanzarote, Pedro San Ginés, has thanked the artists for the financial facilities they have provided, "a circumstance that will allow the people of Lanzarote to enjoy a show of the highest and recognized level, within the reach of very few".
