The residents of La Villa de Teguise continue to participate in the events scheduled for the festivities in honor of Nuestra Señora del Carmen.

Last Saturday at 7:30 p.m. and presided over by the parish priest Juan Manuel Molina, the Eucharist Offering began in honor of Nuestra Señora del Carmen.

The songs were enlivened by the Villa de Teguise Polyphonic Choir, directed by Professor Nuvi Tavio.

Once the Eucharist was over, the image of the Virgin went out to the portico of the church to receive the offering of non-perishable products, which councilors of the local corporation, cultural groups and individuals deposited next to the throne of the image. All these products were given to Cáritas Parroquiales for later distribution to the most vulnerable families.

The musical offering was enlivened by the Virgen de Guadalupe de Teguise Cultural and Musical Association, directed by Professor Javier Bravo.
