The Asperger Islas Canarias Association (Aspercan) has organized a charity event in order to raise funds. It is a musical, 'Don Millo's Farm', which will be held at 6 p.m. on Saturday, October 6 at the Municipal Theater of San Bartolomé.
Tickets are priced at eight euros, of which 50 percent will be donated to Aspercan. They can be purchased at the Playa Honda Civic Center, at the Aspercan office and at the Crepería El Patio de la Villa.
Aspercan was founded in 2005, as a result of the concern of a group of relatives who, far from seeing their needs covered by the existing socio-health structure, decided to come together with legal personality to fight for the rights of their children and even for their own, "which are so often truncated when it comes to accessing the services offered by society in all aspects on an equal footing: education, employment, health, leisure and free time, etc., all without profit," they explain from the association.
