The renowned Barcelona-based DJ Paco Osuna will be in charge of headlining the 2025 edition of the EMEC Festival, which will take place on May 24 at the emblematic San José Castle, in Arrecife (Lanzarote). This event, which merges art, culture, electronic music, and sustainability, promises a vibrant day from 3:00 p.m. to midnight, in one of the most iconic enclaves on the island, establishing itself as the best electronic music event on the Island.
In addition to the central figure of Paco Osuna, an iconic DJ on the current scene, the names of Miane, Melanie Ribbe, and Twenty Six are added, three talents from the international scene who will bring their energy and style to an unforgettable musical experience. With this powerful selection of artists, EMEC reaffirms its commitment to musical quality and sonic diversity in a unique natural and heritage environment. In addition, the festival also bets on local talent with sessions by Arxip, Iva Dive, Stany, and Denis Rodd.
In addition to its artistic quality, EMEC offers the unique experience of experiencing nine hours of music in a magical setting such as the San José Castle, with the support of the production company responsible for major festivals such as GreenWorld and Mappa. Paco Osuna, born in Barcelona in 1974, is one of the most influential names in Spanish techno. Currently, in one of the peak moments of his career, he is currently celebrating his own parties at HI Ibiza, recognized as the best nightclub in the world.
With more than 25 years of career, he has been a resident in clubs such as Amnesia Ibiza and has performed at renowned festivals such as Sónar or Ultra Music Festival. Founder of the Mindshake Records label, Osuna is a benchmark in the industry for his constant innovation and for promoting new talents from his platform.
The Spanish DJ and producer Miane, based in Ibiza, has established herself as a prominent figure in the international electronic scene. Her style, influenced by soul and R&B, is characterized by a distinctive fusion of tech house and deep house, with forceful rhythms and enveloping bass lines. She has collaborated with renowned artists such as Hot Since 82, Chris Lake, and Gorgon City, and her EP "House So House" on the Knee Deep In Sound label is an example of her ability to combine emotional vocals with energetic percussions.
Born in Germany and raised in Jamaica, Melanie Ribbe is a tech house DJ and producer who has left her mark on the global electronic scene. From the beginning, she has demonstrated an innate passion for music, recording mixtapes since the age of 8. After training at the London Academy of Music Production, she officially debuted at Miami Music Week in 2015 and soon obtained residencies in iconic clubs such as Amnesia Ibiza and Cova Santa.
In 2020, she founded her own record label, Agápe Muzik, and released her debut album "DANCE AGAIN" in 2021, establishing herself as a versatile and entrepreneurial artist.
The Italian DJ and producer Twenty Six has emerged as an innovative figure in the tech house scene. Originally from Savona, his style is distinguished by an intense rhythmic energy and a predilection for unconventional sounds that challenge the limits of the genre. His version of the song "Stan" reached more than two million plays on SoundCloud, capturing the attention of labels such as Glasgow Underground and Nervous. He has shared the stage with artists such as Jamie Jones and Dennis Cruz, and has performed in cities such as Frankfurt, Malta, London, and Madrid, consolidating his presence on the international circuit.
The EMEC Festival has established itself as a space that celebrates cultural diversity and promotes a message of ecological awareness, combining contemporary sounds with the landscape and architectural richness of Lanzarote.
