The Catalan group Blau Mediterrà Havaneres will be present at the XXXI Habaneras and Sea Music Meeting "Braulio de León", which will be held within the framework of the San Ginés festivities in Arrecife.
This group, which will bring a representation of Catalan habaneras to Lanzarote, was founded in 1987, so it has been active for 32 seasons. During this time, it has changed components, so that initially they had eight and now they are three: three voices, two of them with guitars and another with a double bass.
In these years, the Catalan group Blau Mediterrà Havaneres has recorded six albums and has performed throughout the Catalan and Franco-Catalan territory, as well as in the Basque Country and the Valencian Community, but "never as far as on this occasion".
The XXXI Habaneras and Sea Music Meeting "Braulio de León", which will also feature the performance of Coros y Danzas de Arrecife, will be held this Saturday, August 24, starting at 9 pm, at the Charco de San Ginés.
