The biologist and writer Nacho Romero presented his fourth book "Bogando entre Líneas" on Wednesday night at the municipal theater of San Bartolomé. An act where the author, in addition to unraveling his new literary work, motivated social, cultural and environmental involvement as a way of life. The verses wandered through the volcanic landscape of the island of Lanzarote, its historical corners and its peculiar epidermis.
The presentation brought together more than two hundred people and was attended by the mayor of the municipality, Isidro Pérez, who was in charge of starting the act and highlighted Nacho Romero's career of social, cultural and environmental involvement and was very grateful that he chose the town of San Bartolomé for the presentation of his fourth book. Researchers, readers and poets took part in the presentation, who, together with the author, were unraveling, commenting on and reading poems included in the content of the book "Bogando entre Líneas".
Nacho Romero emphasized the active position that we must assume in the face of the unbalanced system in which we are immersed, starting from the domestic, going through the professional and encompassing as far as our arms reach. He asked for fair appreciation and love for our traditional sports, to which he dedicated part of his stanzas. He excitedly recounted memories of experiences in different moments and corners of the islands in which the poems that underline the title of this collection of poems "Bogando entre líneas" arose. The presentation featured the musical part of the timplista Alexis Lemes and the pianist Ayoze Rodríguez.
