Buenavista Infrastructure, a management company specializing in infrastructure investments, and Nauplia Capital, the largest network of marinas in Spain, have acquired a majority stake in Marina Lanzarote, the Arrecife marina.

However, Calero Marinas will continue to be a shareholder and will maintain the operational management of the asset together with Nauplia Capital.

Marina Lanzarote has 378 moorings for rent, 84 commercial premises and terraces, in addition to being a dry dock prepared for large yachts.

The dry dock has an area of 16,920 m2 and the entire marina occupies approximately 100,000 square meters.

Buenavista Infrastructure explained in a statement that the operation has been managed through Uruk Capital, a financial vehicle specialized in sports marinas, in which Buenavista and Nauplia Capital participate.

For Buenavista Infraestructuras, this acquisition comes after the incorporation in April 2024 into its portfolio of Marina Port Premià, located 20 km from Barcelona.

The managing partner of Buenavista Infrastructure, Juan José Clavería, explained that with the acquisition of this marina "we are reinforcing our commitment to the sports marina sector, which we consider very attractive due to its low risk, its capacity to generate recurring income and which presents good returns."

"This new project --he concluded-- represents an important step in our objective of having a diversified portfolio for our infrastructure fund with a low risk profile and adequate profitability."
