The average price per square meter on the island of Lanzarote to buy a home was 2,861 euros in June, about 40 euros more than the previous month and almost 400 euros more than it cost a year ago.
The data comes from the real estate portal idealista.com and has been disseminated by the Lanzarote Data Center.
The uninterrupted increases in recent months have favored that in the municipality of Tías the square meter is about to exceed the barrier of 4,000 euros. At the moment it is at 3,949 euros.
Also in Yaiza prices are approaching 4,000 euros per square meter. Currently each meter in the south costs 3,885 euros on average.
The third most expensive municipality to buy a home is Teguise, where the square meter marked an average of 2,808 euros in June.
In Haría and San Bartolomé the square meter was sold in June at an average of 2,597 and 2,363 euros respectively.
Meanwhile, in the capital of the island, the square meter was located last month at 1,940 euros on average.
