The Sonidos Líquidos Festival has been awarded the Enogastrotourism Promotion Award, granted by the Agrotourism and Oenotourism Chair of the Canary Islands of the University of La Laguna. In the ceremony, held this past Wednesday, the festival's work was recognized for "its originality", as well as for its "good practices" in the promotion of viticulture and gastronomic tourism in the Canary Islands.
Sonidos Líquidos, known for pairing the best live music with the distinctive flavor of the islands and the richness of the landscape, has been recognized just a few days before the European Day of Wine Tourism, which will take place next Sunday, November 12.
The event, which has obtained certification by European entities such as A Greener Festival for its special attention to the environment and community action, is a prominent example in enhancing the value of local products, implicitly contributing to the circular economy and sustainable development. "This award reflects our commitment not only to quality music and respect for the environment, but also to wine tourism and gastronomy of the Archipelago, fundamental pillars of our cultural identity," said Neftalí Acosta, director of Sonidos Líquidos.
The Enogastrotourism Awards of the University of La Laguna have become a benchmark for the promotion of wine tourism culture, and the Sonidos Líquidos Festival, along with its sponsors and collaborators, is proud to be part of this movement that celebrates and elevates the cultural richness of the Canary Islands.
