The actor Pepe Mediavilla, voice actor of the American interpreter Morgan Freeman, will be one of the protagonists of the programming that the Arrecife Youth Center offers throughout this month of May. His voice will give life to various stories in a reading of stories and poems for young people. In addition, the municipal facilities will host the 1st Heritage and Education Forum or the solidarity play 'I am a woman, so what'.
Pepe Mediavilla's readings will take place on May 15 and 16. Also on the 16th, the play 'I am a woman, so what', by the theater company SomoS, will be performed at the Youth Center. With the function, which will begin at 9:00 p.m., "it pays tribute to those pioneers in demonstrating through a strike, asking for a reduction of the working day to 10 hours and labor improvements." In addition, it will have charitable purposes and the entrance will cost 3 euros.
The Youth Center will also host the 1st Heritage and Education Forum, an activity organized by the Cabildo de Lanzarote and the Arrecife City Council, which will take place on May 28 and 29.
That same Friday, May 29, two activities organized on the occasion of Canary Islands Day will begin. A youth radio show will be held and the skate championship and the photography contest will also begin, which will end on Saturday the 30th.

These new proposals are added on May 8 and 9, from 7:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., to the radio workshops and the opening of the games area that takes place every weekend.
